Her Story
Liyi is RIA’s inaugural Fellow.
Coming from over a decade in digital transformation, marketing and innovation consulting at companies like PwC, Deloitte, Dentsu Aegis and others, Liyi has led projects for a range of public and private sector clients. She helps shape ambiguous ambitions into action-focused plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Alongside her corporate career, Liyi has also ventured into social entrepreneurship. As a trade policy officer at the Singapore Economic Development Board, Liyi was inspired to set up a retail brand to work alongside social workers, in support of micro-employment arrangements for clients in need of such economic opportunities. Economic development - not just in Singapore but across Asia – continues to drive her interest in business and the social impact sector.
Liyi holds an Executive MBA from the Kellogg-Schulich cross-border programme jointly offered by Northwestern University (USA) and York University (Canada). She also graduated with first-class honours in Journalism and Economics from the University of Hong Kong.
These days, Liyi is trying to write more prose. If nothing is appearing on her Linkedin, she probably isn’t writing at all
