Her Story
Stacey excels at building private-public-philanthropic partnerships.
While keeping the big picture top-of-mind, Stacey’s mantra of GSD—Get Stuff Done—means she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and dive right in to any challenge. She loves connecting with people, and connecting good people to each other.
With 11 years of experience in the philanthropy sector and a cross-cultural career spanning Asia, she uses her deep knowledge of policy, behavioural change, social investing, and multi-sectoral engagement to create systemic organisational shifts for RIA clients.
A respected expert in the Chinese philanthropy market, Stacey launched the Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC) Mandarin Collective catering to Chinese philanthropists. She shares her sectoral experience through writing, on panels, and in a two-part podcast, The Future of Asian Philanthropy.
As part of the start-up team at APC Stacey developed collaborative projects on education, forced migration, nutrition, and eldercare across Asia. In her role as Chief Operating Officer, she fostered co-funding opportunities, built capacity of organisations on the ground, and connected them to funders for scaled impact.
Prior to joining APC, Stacey was Director of Policy Engagement at AVPN where she spearheaded The Asia Policy Dialogue, a new platform for government representatives and policy makers to create a vibrant social economy in Asia. She also significantly expanded the organisation’s membership into new markets including China, Malaysia, and Australia and developed a pioneering event bringing thousands of social investing experts and practitioners together for co-investment and knowledge sharing.
As an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Stacey teaches a course on volunteer management with an aim to channel more individuals into the social sector.
In her downtime, you will find her trying to fulfill her farm to table retreat dream by learning—always learning!
