Her Story

Drawn to work that lets her serve others, Wan Fong has spent the past decade operating at the intersection of public policy and human rights due diligence across Singapore and the US.

For the past three years, she led international forced labor prevention and due diligence initiatives for a NYC-based non-profit. Her work focused on addressing systemic labor coercion and the trafficking of migrant workers within high-risk mining supply chains, collaborating closely with government, civil society, and private sector stakeholders.

Prior to that, Wan Fong spent seven years as a policymaker within the Singapore Public Service, leading multi-agency strategic initiatives spanning urban planning, infrastructure development, social and family services, and youth development. In addition to policy work, she authored ministerial speeches, managed multi-billion-dollar

infrastructure developments, oversaw a SGD 500 million grant framework for non-profits, and spearheaded national youth initiatives for ground-up groups in Singapore.

Wan Fong holds an M.Ed. in International Education Policy from Harvard University, a B.A. in Politics, Psychology, and Sociology from the University of Cambridge, and a Diploma in Film, Sound, and Video from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Outside of work, she bakes for her family and neighbors, runs, and volunteers.
